Did you know that women need up to 115 ounces of water a day?
Much more than the rumored 8 glasses we are used to. Hydration is very important for your body especially to your skin, your skin is your largest organ, and needs hydration to thrive. Water helps the blood circulate, which cleans out toxins that can cause break outs or cause the skin to look dull. Drinking the right amount of water through the day makes your skin look fuller and younger, while helping your body cleanse and detoxify, so make sure that you are drinking the right amount for your body.
Dehydration can lead to dizziness, fatigue, headaches and dry mouth, these are just some of the immediate causes of being dehydrated, if you are continually dehydrated it can lead to serious health problems.
We all spend a lot of money on facial products, to hide dark under eyes, clear up break outs, and lessen oil. All of these problems can be helped if not solved by being properly hydrated. When you are dehydrated your body starts to release toxins through your skin, and also the oils that your body releases becomes thicker, causing more break outs. Being properly hydrated also gives lubrication to your joints, prevents constipation, regulates your body temperature, and promotes proper kidney function.
Here are some great tips to get all of your daily water, without the plainness of water
-Try muddling some mint and adding lime juice to make a water mojito.
- Add fresh fruit to your water
- Dilute fruit juices with water, it cuts the calories in half and helps you stay hydrated.
